Teppanyaki
In Japanese, the word teppanyaki stems from teppan (鉄板), which is the metal plate on which the food is cooked on, and yaki (焼き) translated as grilled.
Because of the flat surface, a teppan catches all the juice on the cooking top so the food is nicely flavored and moist.

Okonomiyaki お好み焼き is a savory Japanese pancake or pizza “grilled as you like it“ (Okonomi :as you like it + Yaki :grill)
with your choice of tasty condiments and toppings. The batter is made with flour, tempura bits, grated yam, eggs and shredded cabbage.
+ On top, you add the following items according to your taste: prawns, pork slices, tako (octopus) or squid, Hokkaido scallops, smoked pork, cheese, kimchi, beansprout, corn.
+ Refreshing Mixed Salad
+ Dessert. This is another fun way to make your own dinner!
